The 23rd Annual Arc Race is expected to bring more than 2,000 participants to Long Branch Park on September 9, 2017. Participate in the USATF-certified 5K run, certified half-marathon or the 3K Fun Walk or the KIDZ 1 Mile Fun Run. Bring the whole family and enjoy the Parkside Family Fun Zone with games, refreshments, clowns, face painting, bouncy house, and much, much more. Don't forget the free snacks and refreshments all morning long provided by Dunkin' Donuts and other area vendors.
Arc Race also features Athletes in Tandem; a program which pairs community runners with athletes who have disabilities, allowing them to compete side-by-side with the assistance of adaptive running strollers. These pairings exemplify how together, we can turn disability into ability.
