-
Day Habilitation
Arc’s Day Habilitation programs conduct group activities in both program/site-based and community-based (Without Walls) settings, and work to meet the goals and supports of the people receiving services. The hours are typically 8 am until 3:30 pm.
-
Community Habilitation
Our Community Habilitation program is very similar to the Without Walls programs with expectations of services beginning and ending at the participants’ homes, and offering more flexible hours, and the possibility for providing one-to-one support.
-
Recreational Respite
The Recreational Respite program offers opportunities to attend a wide variety of fun and meaningful events and activites. Every quarter, a calendar of events is mailed to program participants, and they choose which events or activites look interesting to them and sign up for them. There are events almost every weekend that vary in length, in addition to some weekday events/group activites.
-
Residential Days
During the day, DSPs have the opportunity to take individuals to appointments, go grocery shopping, and visit community attractions. DSP’s also maintain the cleanliness and safety of the residences, manage medication inventory, adminster medications, and provide support in all aspects of daily life.
-
Residential Evenings
Similar to the day shift, DSPs who work in the evening greet people who are coming home from their day programs. They assist individuals as they return home from the day's activities, prepare dinner, accompany and supervise community recreation activities, help with getting ready for bed, bathing, administer medications, and prepare for the next day.
-
Residential Overnights
Our overnight DSPs provide thorough cleaning throughout our residences, conduct sleep checks if necessary, and help with morning routines such as dressing, preparing breakfast, administering medications, and assisting individuals as they board buses and take them to programs.
