Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible implementing production and work plans and maintaining safety standards at one of Monarch Enterprises’ industrial or manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include work-direction and training for production staff and consumers hired for development and competitive employment positions. Production, manufacturing and/or warehouse operations may operate under contract at employers’ site or at a Monarch Enterprise work-center site. Incumbents are responsible for the implementation of production plans, quality control standards, inventory controls and meeting fulfillment goals. Under the supervision of their Lead Production Supervisor and/or Operations Manager, a Production Supervisor is responsible for maintaining production standards (e.g. quality, quantity and safety) consistent with the terms of Monarch Enterprise contracts and agreements.

Requirements
1. Provides work-direction for all assigned staff and employees ensuring that workers adequately perform all job duties daily. Initiates training and controls to ensure compliance with workplace safety and OSHA regulations.
2. Implement production-staffing plans to achieve quality and quantity results consistent with Monarch Enterprises contract and budget agreements.
3. Provides training to employees, production and operations staff.
4. Implement operations and controls to ensure compliance with Local, State and Federal environmental regulations.
5. Implement operations and controls to ensure compliance with Local, State and Federal regulations for providing career services to people with developmental disabilities.
6. Operate motor vehicles, as assigned, required for production or warehouse operations.
7. Implement systems, as assigned, to maintain inventory controls.
8. Completes accurate payroll and turns it in on time.
9. Works flexible hours, days, evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary in order to meet the needs of individuals served.
10. May be required to arrive at a job site without the use of a company vehicle if not transporting a crew.
11. May be responsible for providing safe transportation of employees to and from work-sites in Agency owned vehicles. This includes daily completion of vehicle checklists.
12. Must maintain job-required certifications and/or licenses.
13. Provides crisis intervention for assigned workers. May provide emergency home contact.
14. Performs regular preventative maintenance checks and repairs as needed.
15. Supports the Goals and Mission of Arc of Onondaga County. Ensures that your communications and personal performance reflect the Agency’s commitment to teamwork, compliance with policies and procedures and respect for consumers and staff.
16. Computer and office technology expertise that is required to fulfill job responsibilities and assignments.
17. Attends and participates in required Arc meetings, staff development and training programs.
18. Establishes and provides clear and legible documentation and compliance records required by Arc and other government agencies.
19. Provides other job-related support and services as required or assigned by management.

Education & Experience Requirements
• High School Diploma.
• One - two years of related experience.
• Combination of education and experience which, in the judgement of the employer, equals above standards.
• May require eligibility for NYS DMV Regulation 19(A) and CDL Class C NYS driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to the Agency’s insurance carrier.
